I made this folding travel loom so that it’s a stand alone loom that can be packed away when it’s not in use. It can be easily folded with the band in place which means it be be used when you are on the move. I made it so it’s no bigger than an a4 piece of paper which hopefully means it can fit in a bag really easily. Folded dimensions are: 30cm x 22cm x 6cm Dimensions in use: 42cm x 22cm x 14cmIt weighs: 1.4kg I have added in a little shuttle stick and some cards to get started with. I made this one out of oak so it’s hard wearing and also because I think it looks lovely! The yarn can be tied to the back tensioning bar and further friction tensioned using the wooden bar at the front.
