La Pluma is a communicative Spanish textbook and suitable for Higher and Ordinary Level students. It comprises of three units aimed at developing students' oral, written and compre hension skills. A student centred book allowing for classroom flexibility and adaptation with emphasis on the productive skills of the Leaving Certificate written examination as required by the syllabus. Contents includes: Section 1: Vocabulary lists with short comprehesnion texts based on the topics and exercises in message/note and diary entry forms. Section 2: Provision of sample letters, relevant vocabulary and structures for formal letters and dialogues. Section 3: Introduces and develops a wide range of topics, supplemented with visual stimuli, relevant vocabulary and idiomatic structures.
