A driftwood stump on the flats with the sky split in two.The top half of this frame is deep blue with cloud streaked back into it, and the lower half of the sky is on fire — a hard band of red and orange running the full width just above the horizon, gold underneath it. The two meet in a line. The stump sits low and left on wet sand with tidal pools around it, and those pools carry both halves back at once: blue in one, pink in the next.Blue over fire. Vertical, high contrast, and among the strongest of the driftwood frames. Show more
