The Nimbus yarn is a magnificent combed yarn made from the mixture of two extraordinary 100% merino fibres : Arles Merino (Mérinos d'Arles), fleece from a breed of sheep raised in the french Mediterranean plains of Camargue and the Crau, and the Merino from Portugal, from farms in the Alentejo in southern Portugal. Nimbus is a 4-ply yarn, soft, elegant and subtle, full of character, and very pleasant to knit with.
