This box is used to take the measurements of the feet in bespoke and orthopedic shoemaking trade. The ink is applied with the roller on the underside of the impression pad. Therefore the pad can be folded from one side of the box to the other (see video). Now, you put in the paper and fold the pad over it with the clean side to the top. The box is now ready for taking the measurements. The impression pad has a size of 34,5 cm x 14 cm.
