The Footboard Riser provides a steeper point of contact for drummers looking for more power and a longer beater swing. A steeper footboard (more angle) allows for more forceful strokes, enabling faster, more powerful foot movements. The steeper angle encourages drummers to use larger muscle groups (e.g. calves) for speed, which can reduce strain on the foot and ankle. Some drummers prefer this setting for fast, aggressive patterns while enabling quicker, more controlled beater strokes.
