Explore the award-winning practice of Filipina artist Marikit Santiago in the book For us sinners - an exquisite blend of artwork sketches, journal entries, photography, and texts to Marikit’s seminal solo exhibition at 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art in 2022.Based in Western Sydney, Marikit works across painting and sculpture to portray the cultural references, social values and aesthetics of her Filipina ancestry, as well as the Western Art canon and devotional iconography of Catholicism.
