Fords Gin is a contemporary gin from the United Kingdom that's a collaboration between 8th generation Master Distiller Charles Maxwell of Thames Distillers and Simon Ford of The 86 Company. It's made with nine botanicals, including juniper, coriander seeds, orris, jasmine, angelica, cassia, bitter orange, lemon, and grapefruit peels, steeped for 15 hours before distillation. Fords Gin is 45% ABV (90 proof) and has a traditional base of juniper and coriander seed balanced by citrus, florals, and spices. Some say it has a rich and thick flavor, with notes of juniper, spice, floral hints, lavender, and cream.
