There's something about this colourway that feels like that specific moment in spring when the forest is just waking up. A deep, earthy base of brown and grey shifts through the skein like dappled light through bare branches, and then the speckles hit: flashes of neon green, warm orange, and soft pink scattered across the whole thing like the first wildflowers pushing up through the leaf litter. It sounds like it shouldn't work, and yet it completely does. Made from 85% merino wool and 15% neon donegal nep, hand-dyed so every skein carries its own character. The speckles make it one of those colourways that rewards simple stitch patterns, letting the colour tell the story without anything competing with it. Shawls, hats, and relaxed sweaters would all be right at home here. Forest Floor is for anyone who loves nature-inspired colour but isn't afraid of a little unexpected joy hidden in the detail.
