Forest Floor – An original hand felted artwork I always look up when I’m in a forest but sometimes it is just so lovely & peaceful to sit by a tree & take in the softness & beauty of the forest floor. This artwork is hand felted using merino, bamboo, soybean & recycled sari silk wool in a variety of stunning earthy colours. This is a very textured work & is hand embellished with beads, contorted willow & acorns. One of a kind but please contact me if you would like something similar made. If this particular piece is sold a similar one will be handmade for you. Due to the nature of felt making, no two will be identical & the positioning of wool, textures, silks & detail will be different but the same lovely colour scheme will be used. Hand felted using water, olive oil soap, friction & time. Frame size 43 x 43cm Artwork approx size 36 x 36cm Limed white wooden box frame, handmade in Ireland.
