All information in the game is based on the knowledge of real foresters. In the eurogame Forestry, each player has two workers on the board: each player controls both a Harvester and a Manager , each with their own responsibilities. The Harvester moves through the forest, cutting down trees to fulfill contracts, planting new trees, building infrastructure, and managing water to support the ecosystem. The Manager focuses on gathering resources, operating sawmills, processing contracts, and optimizing wood processing.
