The programs focused on developing fundamental skills and access to resources.Through his ongoing project, Trickster Company, Rico carries forward the goals of empowering indigenous artists, Celebrating indigenous resilience, promoting cross cultural connection, representing modern indigenous people to Alaska's visitors, and breaking into a tourism market that profits from Alaska Native art styles with little to no return to the communities that spent thousands of years developing those styles.Currently Rico is working towards developing his skills in digital 3d sculpture and exploring themes of indigenous futurism."
