However, when applied, daytime temperatures should be between 50° F (10° C) and 84° F (29° C) for optimal effectiveness. Application: Place the strips across the top bars between brood boxes or on top of a single deep hive. Treatment Options: 14-Day Treatment: Use 2 strips for 14 days. 20-Day Treatment: Place the first strip for 10 days, remove it, and replace it with a second strip for another 10 days.
