It's a great breakfast tea but smooth and delightful enough for all-day economical luxury. These leaves can be re-steeped many times and our family drinks this delicious tea pretty much every morning! At BTTC, we love to support small family farms and we're happy to have worked with Mr. Liu and his wonderful wife Ms. Lee for many years. Their plots are both very near the lake. Varietal: Assam Location: Sun-Moon Lake, Central Taiwan Elevation: 800M Harvest: Winter 2025 Brewing: For more than one person we recommend using a French press (8-10g of dry leaf to 2 cups boiling water (475ml). Brew for 3-4 minutes increasing time with each brew. Alternately, one heaping teaspoon of Formosa Assam to 8 oz. of boiling hot water, brew for 3-4 minutes increasing time with each brew. Use a strainer, or if you don't mind a little leaf in your tea feel free to use a fork :)
