Ideal for fishermen who want to easily remove their Fortrex or Maxxum trolling motors. The MKA-52/62 aluminum quick-release mount allows you to slide the motor in from the side and securely attach it to the base using a side screw. You can also attach a padlock (not included) to this mount to prevent motor theft. Split Part Number: Minn Kota MKA-52/62 | 1862016 Compatible With: Minn Kota Ultrex, Fortrex & Maxxum foot-controlled trolling motors with 112lb thrust and 52", 60" or 62" shaft. Choose the Minn Kota MKA-42 if you have an Ultrex, Fortrex or Maxxum foot-controlled motor with a 42" or 45" shaft, or a hand controlled model with a 42" or 52" shaft. Operational Notes: This quick release allows for easy, tool-free removal of the trolling motor from the deck. The motor slides into the docking plate and is secured with an included set screw. The quick release plate also has a padlock slot to prevent motor theft. Installation Notes: The top portion of the bracket bolts directly to the trolling motor. The bottom plate bolts directly to the deck of the boat. Drilling is required, and it's ideal if you have access to the underside of the bow mounting surface.
