The Foscarini Aplomb Large Pendant Light is a brilliant mix of rough industrial material and simple design. Put together by Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere, this version introduces a completely different shape to the original Aplomb family. While the first model was a tight, compact cone, this large variant stretches right out to offer a wide, slim profile that completely changes how it spreads light across a room.Each lamp is made in Italy using a craft-based process where a special concrete mix is poured by hand into a mould. It is coloured with pigments during the process, creating a smooth finish that feels surprisingly pleasant to touch. Making the concrete so thin over such a wide shape was a real technical challenge, but it results in a lightweight shade that looks effortless when hanging. Because it is much wider than the original, it throws a broad pool of direct downward light, making it a fantastic choice for hanging over a dining table, a kitchen island, or a desk.The pendant features a built-in LED light source that is bright, long lasting, and highly energy efficient. To make sure it fits into your home's existing colour scheme, you can choose from three timeless concrete finishes: raw grey, white, or an earthy brown.
