Fosroc Concure WB is a low viscosity wax emulsion supplied as a white liquid which dries to a clear film. When spray applied to fresh concrete, the emulsion breaks on contact with the surface to form a continuous, non-penetrating coating which dries clear. This film acts as a physical barrier to moisture loss, ensuring more efficient cement hydration and producing a harder, more durable surface with reduced permeability and lower risk of surface cracking and shrinkage. It is suitable for all general concreting applications and of particular benefit on large area surfaces such as roads, runways and bridgeworks. It can also be applied to newly hardened concrete immediately after demoulding, provided the surface is damp, dry surfaces may prevent correct film formation and cause staining.
