Hand carved in either Portland limestone or Corsehill sandstone, this miniature sculpture measures 8cm square and fits comfortably in the hand. Fossa centres around the idea of a g entle recess, a soft, held space within the form. The geometry creates a quiet sense of depth and calm, almost like a breath drawn inwards.
