A simple lace panel at the center front and back adds a bit more whimsy and texture, in addition to a few more precious details. Knit mostly in the round, it’s a very fun and engaging knit, and results in a stunning pullover sure to gain many compliments. Construction: This saddle shoulder pullover is worked from the top down seamlessly. Once the saddles are worked stitches are picked up for the back, after which stitches are picked up to work the fronts. Both the back and fronts have short row shoulder shaping. All pieces are then joined in the round for the body. Stitches are picked up around the armhole, including the held saddle stitches. A short row sleeve cap is worked, and then the sleeve is worked in the round to the cuff. The cables and lace are charted, written instructions for the charts are included. Difficulty: Intermediate to Advanced The pattern is very thorough, and the rows on the charts where different charts cable are highlighted, but some test knitters preferred to use notes to help keep track.
