The Foundation Cross is a hand-crafted piece of art. David polishes and textures carbon steel. He then brings out the color in each piece by using only a blowtorch. The result is a piece of art that has such depth it appears 3-dimensional. The center of the cross represents a portal back to the moment when God spoke, “Let there be light.” That moment of time is contained within the boundaries of the cross because Jesus Christ was crucified before the foundation of the world.
