FOUNTAIN VIEW QUILT The Fountain View quilt was named for its resemblance to ornate fountains or pools. The four center circles like lily pads, while the swirling designs resemble circling coy fish. I like to imagine the details around the edge as stone sculptures, round and smooth. This modern quilt pattern is available in three sizes pillow, baby and throw. It is crafted using curved piecing (25%) and applique (75%). Instructions have been written for fusible raw-edge applique, but you can certainly do needle-turn applique, if you prefer. This is a pattern for an adventurous beginner looking to learn curves!
