Every Sunday, after church, we would head to the convenience store to buy the cold cuts and rolls for the upcoming week's lunches. Next door was an Italian bakery. We would pick ou t many delicious pastries and donuts. As much as I love pasties, a plain glazed donut always did the trick just as well. These pieces were inspired by the foods that nourished my soul. It is a feast, a banquet of flavors, textures, and shared moments. This 3-D food art is crafted from clay and meticulously hand-sculpted to replicate a memorable moment.
