4-Week Wheel Throwing Course — $275 Ready to step into the world of pottery? This four-week beginner-friendly wheel throwing class will guide you from a lump of clay to a finished glazed piece you’ll be proud of. No experience is required — just curiosity and a willingness to get a little messy. Tuesdays September 15th, 22nd, 29th and October 6th Tuesdays October 13th, 20th, 27th and November 3rd Tuesdays August 11th, 18th, 25th, and September 1st Class Details: • Duration: 4 weeks - Time: 2.5 hours per session • Capacity: 4 students per class • Cost: $275 per person • All materials, tools, clay, glazes, and firings included ⸻ What You’ll LearnWeek 1 — Introductions, Wedging & CenteringWe’ll start with the foundations: wedging your clay, centering on the wheel, and understanding basic hand positions. You’ll also have free time to experiment and get comfortable with the wheel. Week 2 — Throwing BasicsThis week, we’ll dive deeper into forming pots — practicing techniques to pull walls, shape vessels, and refine form. Week 3 — Trimming & RefiningAfter your pieces dry to leather hard, you’ll learn how to trim, refine, and add details like foot rings. Week 4 — GlazingFinally, you’ll explore glaze application and learn how color, texture, and form come together in the final firing. ⸻ After ClassYour finished pieces will be fired and ready to pick up within 2–4 weeks.
