Fowlers preserving clips are designed to be used in conjunction with Fowlers rings and stainless steel lids, to preserve your fresh produce. The clips hold the lid in place on top of the rubber ring, whilst still letting air out. Once the lid appears concave indicating that a vacuum seal has formed, the rings can be removed.
