The Fox 2 Straight Sharper is one of the most widely used and trusted bassoon reed shapes. Closely related to the Knochenauer shape, it is distinguished by a short straight section near the tip. All Fox Bassoon Shapers are precision-made from hardened aluminum for durability and consistent results. Each shaper consists of two pieces joined at the end by a specially designed screw system.
