FPTA-5 foreline particle traps are are designed to extend the life of vacuum pumps by preventing solid contaminates from being ingested by the pump. Common applications for the FPT A Traps are processes that generate dusts, powders, resins, etc. The high efficiency polyester cartridge has an efficiency rating greater then 99% and cartridges are moisture resistant. Units are of steel construction, with a baked enamel finish. The filter itself is a heavy duty, pleated, five (5) micron, polyester cartridge. Polyester filters have a high dirty carrying capacity, it is washable with warm water and mild detergents, thereby extending service life of the cartridge.
