Hieromonk Seraphim Rose was the co-founder and co-editor of The Orthodox Word and co-founder of the St. Herman of Alaska Brotherhood and Monastery in California. Fr. Seraphim's lif e, writings and tireless work greatly contributed to the spread and deepening of Orthodoxy not only in America, but throughout the world. This portrait was painted by a Hermitage monk and hangs in the library at the Hermitage of the Holy Cross. Show more
