Label: Steady Flight Circle FR33 is a collection of tracks, beats and sonic explorations by Thomas Xu (Steady Flight Circle) and Tommy Kladis (Music Time with Friends). This tape-o nly release captures the spirit of three sessions at Kladis’s studio featuring Xu on synthesizers, Kladis rummaging through samples, drums and loops on the SP-555 and a feature with John Shaughnessy of Quality Cinema Band on the drum kit. Kladis and Xu met nearly a decade ago in Michigan and have reconnected recently in Chicago djing and collaborating on original music. This project is the first of many inspired by the innovative and liberating nature of Midwest underground dance music. Show more
