Osmanthus fragrans is a dense evergreen shrub grown for its foliage and extremely fragrant flowers. This flowering ornamental shrub, native to Asia, is a member of the olive family , but does not produce olives.Osmanthus fragrans is ideal for use as a border or privacy shrub. Its dense, upright form is heavily covered with 5" long, oval, glossy green leaves. Highly aromatic, the small white apricot-scented flowers bloom sporadically throughout the year.
