A frame grip is a specialized tool used in beekeeping to help beekeepers easily and safely remove frames from the hive for inspection. The frame grip typically consists of a metal or wood handle with two prongs or jaws that are used to grip the top bar of the frame. When using a frame grip, the beekeeper simply places the prongs or jaws over the top bar of the frame and squeezes the handle, which securely grips the frame and allows the beekeeper to easily lift it out of the hive for inspection. The frame grip provides a firm grip on the frame, reducing the risk of dropping or damaging the frame, and also helps to reduce the risk of crushing or injuring bees. Show more
