Original artwork by Distort Design is based on fragments and memories of travel and includes our favourite cities. Inspired by the lyrics of The Kinks and memories of living in Lon don, 'Waterloo sunset' is my homage to our wonderful capital city. The artwork incorporates elements and layers of London life; newspaper cuttings, fabric, sari, maps and sheet music creating a collage . I then hand print my original photographs onto the surface ,creating a photo montage of the city. Gold leaf is added by hand to emphasis areas of depth as a last stage.
