Make a statement in any room with this framed poster, printed on thick matte paper. The matte black frame that's made from wood from renewable forests adds an extra touch of class. Statement from the astrophotographer: This image was created by combining 249 individual 5-minute exposures - through my small, 3.5 inch telescope - into one very large image full of details, nebulosity, molecular gas clouds and light. The capture process took three weeks, awaiting clear and moonless skies. Once the 249 mono (black and white) images were finished, I then stacked them into one single master image and processed (edited) it for 14 hours over many days in computer software. This is when I matched and calibrated certain colors to certain glasses. For this image, I linked the Oxygen-iii gas to the color blue, the Hydrogen Alpha to the color red, and the Sulfur-II to the color green. This created the beautiful color-image you see here. This color pallet is my favorite and close to what the true colors of each gas is. Astronomers named this nebula the California nebula after its shape, but it's open to your imagination, as are all constellations and deep-sky objects above. I hope this brought wonder and awe into your heart, and maybe one day i’ll see you out there under the stars - Carlos Aragon • Ayous wood .75″ (1.9 cm) thick frame from renewable forests • Paper thickness: 10.3 mil (0.26 mm) • Paper weight: 189 g/m² • Lightweight • Acrylite front protector • Hanging hardware included • Blank product components in the US sourced from Japan and the US • Blank product components in the EU sourced from Japan and Latvia How to attach hooks on 24″ × 36″ horizontal frames: Place each of the mounting hooks 1 inch (2.5 cm) from frame corners when hanging horizontally.
