About The Author Fran Silvestre is a Spanish architect. He graduated with a degree in architecture at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Valencia in 2001 and specialized in urban planning at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven. A close collaborator of the Pritzker Prize–winning architect Álvaro Siza, he founded Fran Silvestre Arquitectos in 2005. He is also a professor at the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia and the Universidad Europea. Philip Jodidio is a specialist in contemporary architecture and was editor in chief of the French art monthly Connaissance des Arts for more than twenty years.
