Manos del Uruguay Franca is a light, lofty and bouncy 100% superwash merino, super chunky single yarn. Super-soft, super-warm and super-quick to knit up chunky hats, squidgy scarves and other cosy accessories.All of their yarns are hand dyed. The artisans use big pots heated by wood kettles, dyeing in small batches creating wonderful colours. Our yarn colours are bright and wild, full of nuances and variations. No two skeins are the same, each one is unique, a testimony of a particular moment. Keeping the traditional hand spinning skills alive is very important for Manos and it allows us to create unique, beautiful yarns.
