His legacy is one of America’s foremost cultural treasures. In 1940, he established The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation to protect, preserve and administer his life’s work. In 1991, Architectural Record magazine published a list of the 100 most significant buildings in the world - 11 were by Frank Lloyd Wright. In June 2019, several of his buildings were inscribed onto the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites, creating a connection with Salts Mill and Saltaire which are also on this list of precious and extraordinary places.
