VANILLA / CARAMEL / CHOCOLATE - Frank (CL-99) served for 8 years as a K-9 for U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the southern Texas border. Although he experienced many setbacks while on duty, he never let them get in the way of making the most out of life. The last year of his service, he and his handler earned the prestigious Commissioner’s Blue Eagle Award. Sadly, after retirement, he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Through his illness, he continued to be the goodest of boys. Frank is what we should all aspire to be, resilient in the face of adversity. A portion of the proceeds of the Frank’s Blend will be donated to Project K-9 Hero in order to assist retired working dogs with medical treatment after their service. - Frank was my third working K9.
