Frannie is a swing sundress perfect for everyday play and can be worn as a jumper for cooler weather. Adjustable fullness gathered under the arms can be made with fabric ties or elastic. The fully-lined dress has one button in the back with an optional Peter Pan collar. The dress is hemmed using the original method by sewing the dress fabric to the lining at the bottom of the dress. Alternately, instructions are given on how to adapt the pattern to hem the dress and the lining separately, which is recommended for beginners.
