Size: 54" x 70" (137cm x 178cm).The Frantz Throw was designed by Sebastian Eriksson, a Swedish artist who works across collage, illustration and sculpture. His process is fluid by design - chance and the subconscious play just as big a role as order and planning. The Frantz Throw is a good example of that approach in action. The design is laid out as a three by three grid, with each panel containing a different organic shape - mushroom forms, rounded blobs, arched curves and abstract silhouettes in mustard yellow, burnt orange, charcoal black and warm grey across a cream background. The shapes bleed across the grid lines in places, giving it a loose, almost collaged quality.Every Slowdown Studio throw starts as an original artwork. We collaborate with independent artists around the world to translate their creativity into woven form.
