Furthermore, the design minimises potential pinch points, for example, when fully turning the steering wheel or lowering the lid – a soft-closing function is integrated. There are no exposed components that could cause injury. With its whisper-quiet rubber tires, Fred moves smoothly along any route, even on wooden floors. When driving while kneeling, the integrated knee recess on the loading area lid prevents slipping. Fred is handmade and produced in Germany in collaboration with workshops for people with physical disabilities. Each of our wooden vehicles is a natural product with a unique surface texture and structure. The varying wood grains and color variations are typical quality features.
