Debut release from Madlib & Freddie Gibbs' new collab project. The Thuggin' EP marks the latest entry in Madlib's great rap collab projects (see: Madvillainy with Doom, Jaylib with J Dilla, and In Search Of Stoney Jackson with Strong Arm Steady) and finds the Beat Konducta once again providing the hot beats for an exceptional lyricist - in this case, LA's Freddie Gibbs. Check the raw ghetto reports on "Thuggin" and "Deep," easily some of the realest raps we've heard 'round these parts in a minute! These tracks were created especially for the Medicine Show Tour in late 2011 and find there way onto wax complete with instrumentals and bonus beats.
