Place: Adelaide Hills, Australia Grape: Grillo Vibe: Island How good are Italian varieties in their new found home of Aus? They're inherently good at retaining acidity whilst getti ng plenty of sun, so it's a match made in heaven. Here Grillo is given a little soak on skin, not enough to add any colour or tannin but to enhance mouthfeel. We're very much in the Mediterranean with a myriad of citrus and herb, everything firmly rooted by an Island salinity. What a wine. ABV: 13.5% Show more
