Alter your moleskine and personalize it any way you want. Whether it’s a gift or you are using it for personal use, the Moleskines with kraft covers have plenty of artistic potential. Cut down sheets of vintage sheet music to size, I use two separate sheets for the front and back covers, leaving about ¾" inch to overlap and fold onto the inside of the covers. Glue the pieces of paper on with a liquid adhesive. Then fold the edges over and glue them to the inside of the covers. Glue a piece of sheet music over the entire inside of the covers and snip the excess of the edges. On the front cover, add four strips of washi tape, the red polka dots, black solid, silver solid and red flower tape, and also secure the over the front cover and onto the inside of the front cover. Tie a piece of black seam binding ribbon around the cover and secure a bow. Using the SMASH label maker type out the words "Love Notes" onto the black tape and then attach them to the bottom right corner of the journal cover. This book is perfect for a Valentine gift for a loved one, but of course can be used for just about any occasion.
