What can I say? I’ve been bitten by the template bug! Several months ago I shared an idea for using some of our versatile templates to create one-of-a-kind gift-wrap. Well, I could n’t help doing it again when I found a few country-inspired papers in my stash. I knew our dress with apron and pitcher templates would be a perfect fit. I like to give little gifts to my friends who have children when school starts. It can be a tough transition for both parents and kids, so it’s nice to give a little something that lets them know you’re thinking about them. Bath and body products are often my go-to, as what parent doesn’t need a little pampering once their kids head back to school? To make this gift-wrap, I first traced my templates onto patterned paper, and then I cut them out. I wrapped the gifts with black paper, and then adhered my templates onto the gift. To finish the look, I tucked tiny dried flowers, which I always have on hand, inside the templates. This is such an easy way to make such a simple gift.
