These Anchor kits provide added peace of mind for our freestanding log racks, and other freestanding racks. They provide additional support from bumping into them as well as resist ance against high wind areas. Additionally, the anchors provide some deterrence against potential theft. Ground Anchors come in 15" or 30" lengths. Each Kit includes: 2 x Anchors Per Set (15" or 30" selected above.) 2 x 40" Plastic-Coated Cables 4 x 1/4" Cable Clamps Installation Instructions: Insert the sharp end of the anchor into the ground, close the center-bottom of the log rack's cross rail. Place an anchor on each side of the cross rail so that they will be evenly distributed across the rack. Twist the anchor by hand so that it spirals into the soil. Once set, use a long screwdriver or thin metal pipe inside the ring and rotate, to help easily drive the anchor deeper into the ground. Stop once the anchor is completely in the ground and the ring is at ground level. Run the cable through the ring at the top of the anchor, then pass it over the center of the cross rail of the log rack. Secure the cable using the provided cable clamps. Tighten down to help keep the log rack secure to the ground. Enjoy! Show more
