They are free to change their mind before they commit to the selections. With the selections made, you then ask the participant "Did you feel every choice you made was of your own free will?" To which they will surely respond with, "Yes." Then you reveal a piece of paper that shows the location of each geometric disc, demonstrating that you knew where they would be all along!
