Ace Frehley left Kiss in 1982 after the release of their Creatures of the Night album (which he didn't even play on), the main reason for his departure was so he could pursue a sol o career. Nobody could have predicted that it would take Frehley five long years to issue his first solo album outside of Kiss, 1987's Frehley's Comet. Frehely's Comet is just as good (perhaps even better) than Kiss albums from the same era like Asylum and Crazy Nights but is a letdown when compared to 1978's far superior Ace Frehely. Show more
