Just because it’s called “silverware” doesn’t mean it has to be gray. Or boring! In 1993, Francis Gelb opened Sabre Paris, intent on offering cutlery and serving pieces in unexpect ed colors and shapes made with the highest quality materials and craft (he’s from a family of metalsmiths, where he learned the meticulousness it takes). In other words, he challenged what timelessness could be, expanding the parameters to make room for a little fun.
