A substantial pair of French brass candelabra, richly detailed from base to finial. Each piece features scrolling arms, 4 decorative candle cups per candelabra and an architectural stepped base raised on small feet. The aged brass has developed a beautiful, naturally muted patina, giving the pair depth and character without feeling overly ornate. Their weight, symmetry and sculptural form make them particularly good on a console, dining table, mantel or at either end of a long sideboard. Equally striking left unlit, where they read almost as small pieces of architecture. Beautiful individually, but particularly commanding as a pair.
