A stronger option than most pure gold and has a similar longevity. Silver-filled is less well-known. It also has a jeweller-grade brass core with a fused layer of sterling silver on top. It is then coated with an anti-tarnish material. A cheaper alternative to .925 sterling with all the beauty.
