Sensitive delicate profile portrait of a gentleman, using graphite on prepared paper set to an enamelled octagonal lozenge pendant in 18 carat gold c.1790. There are subtle tints o f colour to the lips,nose and eyes. The work is from the circle of Thomas Bluget de Valdenuit(1763-1846). Show more
